Viennese Massage A Galvanic current is just an electrical current which is used help the penetration of therapeutic beauty products into the skin.

A Galvanic facial is effective because it allows the ingredients to penetrate much more deeply than a manual treatment. A Galvanic facial can also help improve circulation which gives skin a healthy glow.

There are two main ways that Galvanic currents help:

Disencrustation – this is where the skin is deeply cleansed, and any excess oil removed, which helps to eliminate skin blockages (mainly used on oily skin.)
Iontophoresis – this is where active water soluble substances are introduced into the skin for healing and restorative effects. This suits all skin types.
