At the Virginia Williams South Woodford studio, I’m delighted to be able to offer a 90-minute anti-ageing treatment session which uses two innovative machines - Microdermabrasion and Lifting.

These two ingenious machines were top of the list of the ten most popular non-invasive treatments, in interviews carried out by top plastic surgeons and Medi-spa owners in the USA.

The microdermabrasion machine is a powerful yet gentle treatment, which delicately removes the top layers of skin, and helps to even out expression lines. During the treatment, tiny crystals are used to exfoliate the skin, then they are removed with a suction mechanism, taking dead skin cells and skin debris with them. You might experience sensitivity or slight redness after the treatment, but this will usually calm down within a few hours..

In the second part of the treatment, we apply a low level electrical micro-current to increase energy levels in the skin cells. This works to 'lift' the muscles of the face, raising eyebrows as and relaxing deep-set expression lines. It’s up to you whether you would prefer the treatment to concentrate on your eyes and forehead, or lower jaw and neck.

I recommend a course of six to ten treatments to achieve the best anti-ageing results. We take before and after photographs to show you the results, so that you’ll feel glamorous and youthful again – and have a visible record of the progress, week by week.
