OCTOBER IS... Breast Cancer Awareness Month – so go pink!

The Breast Cancer Campaign’s mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. Every October, cancer charities unite for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and on 29 October people around the country will be raising money on Wear it Pink Day!

To support this worthy cause, Virginia Williams Skin Care Studio has put together the Pink Package, available throughout October. You’ll get a deluxe mini-manicure and a deluxe mini-pedicure, and have your nails finished with a pink polish of your choice – and there are dozens of shades to choose from!

You’ll have an indulgent hand treatment session., to nourish and hydrating the skin using heated mittens with cuticle maintenance. For the feet, aromatic oils work to soften tough skin while you wear a pair of heated booties once your cuticles have been tidied.

Every year, 46,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, and it is the most common cancer – accounting for nearly a third of all women’s cancers. If we can all do a little something to raise money and awareness, one day there could be a cure.
